Valhalla of Norway – Byleist
Power, precision, and Norse heritage – assembled in the heart of Sunnmøre
Valhalla of Norway proudly presents Byleist, a timepiece inspired by Norse mythology and world-class craftsmanship. Named after Byleist, the lesser-known brother of Loki in ancient mythology, this watch embodies mystery, strength, and timeless character – a tribute to the legends and landscapes that define the North.
Each Byleist watch is assembled in Ramstad, a stone’s throw from Klokk in Ramstaddal, nestled in the breathtaking region of Sunnmøre, Norway. This is where we’ve partnered with master watchmaker Knut Karlsen, a craftsman with over 30 years of experience. From his workshop in Ramstad, Knut has a stunning view directly across to Mount Klokk and out over the magnificent Storfjord. We couldn’t have found a more perfect location to bring our watches to life.
At the heart of the Byleist ticks the renowned Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement – known for its reliability, precision, and longevity. This high-performance movement is a natural fit for a timepiece designed to blend rugged beauty with technical excellence.
Every Byleist watch is assembled in Norway with care, precision, and deep respect for its origins. It carries not just the spirit of Norse myth, but the real, physical story of where and how it was made. From Swiss mechanics to Norwegian hands – this is more than a watch. It is a wearable piece of Nordic legacy.
